Divine Penance and the Umbral Embrace

So, yeah. Took my time with this one.
Probably one of the biggest works I've done in recent memory. Man, this was headache-inducing to illustrate, but you know what? I do believe it was all worth it. Why? Cuz I fricking love Lords of the Fallen, and I think this is probably one of the best ways I can show my appreciation for the game and those involved in creating such an underrated work of art!

There's just something about this world and lore that captivates me. Simply put, this is probably the closest we'll ever get to another Dante's Inferno video game. And that's not me saying that this game is unoriginal. Quite the contrary actually. It manages to fill in that gap in my heart while also being entirely original. And looking into the art book for this is such a sight to behold.

Anyway, I do hope you all like how this illustration turned out! And maybe some of y'all might see the aspects that I redesigned and even a part that's meant to be a direct nod to the Dante's Inferno game.
